A smile is a curve that sets everything straight

Month: July, 2014

Analyzer or perfectionist. Both.

I remember this heartbreak. It is the same one I had last year.
Betrayed, to be hurt by the ones who swore to protect you.
You used to take my fading smile away. But where is that you now.
Fill my heart with laughter again. Smile when I still have teeth.
Yet tonight, like all the other nights, is a lonely night.
Not a single text from anyone. Nor a single smile to be seen.

The Rains of Castamere

And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that’s all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o’er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

A song of House Lannister

A Single Moment

Spilling every memories we had like I’ve never spilled before. Still I’m not forgiving the fact that we have drifted so far apart. What’s happened between us? What can I give to save us? Being righteous isn’t quite enough. And, still, I hold your hand to set you free.
Take a moment to stumble on your feet.
For us, for good, I save her.
For me, for you, the fallen.
